Faith Ringgold (born Faith WilliJones; October 8, 1930 – April 13, 2024) was an American painter.
She used different materials for her works including fabric. Ringgold is best known for her narrative quilts.
Early life
Faith Willi Jones was born the youngest of three children on October 8, 1930, in Harlem Ho
