    Gaius Suetonius Tranquillus (Latin:[ˈɡaːiʊssweːˈtoːniʊstraŋˈkᶣɪlːʊs]), commonly referred to as Suetonius (swih-TOH-nee-əs; c.&#;AD 69 &#; after AD ),[2] was a Roman historian who wrote during the early Imperial era of the Roman Empire.
